Leading Attorney Jeffery M. Leving to Keynote Speech at A Safe Haven Foundation
Homeless Fathers are Parents Too
Chicago,IL– July 25, 2011 — Matrimonial attorney Jeffery M. Leving will be the keynote speaker at the Fatherhood Involvement Forum organized by A Safe Haven Foundation. The panel will provide resources to help fathers overcome legal and societal barriers and to reduce the stigma they face as non-custodial parents. The event will take place at 2750 W. Roosevelt Road Chapel on July 27, 2011, at 6:00 p.m.
A Safe Haven Foundation was co-founded by Neli Vazquez-Rowland in 1994. It is a social business enterprise that empowers families and individuals experiencing homelessness and crisis to achieve sustainable self-sufficiency. Mr. Leving will benefit the forum’s mission with the critical information he will present about the Illinois Joint Custody Law he co-authored, as well as other significant information concerning fathers’ rights.
“Many fathers are able to provide stability, structure and support if given the opportunity but fathers need to learn their parental rights and how to secure and safeguard these rights to protect their children. Education is critical,” says matrimonial attorney Jeffery M. Leving.
